World Choir Festival – Hong Kong – 2026
The 2026 World Choir Festival brought choirs, conductors and young singers from Hong Kong and around the world together for several days of performances, competition, learning and cultural exchange. Through concerts, workshops and international participation, the festival demonstrated how large-scale choral activity can support youth development, artistic exchange and Hong Kong’s role as an international cultural hub.
Hong Kong Palace Museum Bi-city Youth Cultural Leadership Programme
The Hong Kong Palace Museum Bi-city Youth Cultural Leadership Programme is supported by Lead Sponsor Swire Properties, the Palace Museum and the Office of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government in Beijing. The programme combines cultural exchange, professional development and practical experience across Beijing, Guangzhou and Hong Kong.
Siemens Hallé International Conductors Competition 2026
The Siemens Hallé International Conductors Competition combines corporate support, artistic development and international recruitment to create a significant career pathway for emerging conductors. The 2026 competition attracted more than 270 applicants from six continents, with the winner, Aku Sorensen, joining the Hallé as Assistant Conductor for three years and taking on the role of Music Director of the Hallé Youth Orchestra.
